A woman’s body is one of the most fascinating things to behold, especially when it comes to photography. John Mayer puts it right, it is a wonderland! Haha.
I have always wanted to do a sexy shoot like this--for experience sake. Taken last March when I was in Manila for a vacay..The task of a creative photographer is to bring out the art and natural beauty that is found in a skin that is laid bare and it does not need to be indecent or vulgar. This is what I really hope to achieve as I grow in my profession. It’s as if I'm a painter and my camera is the paint and canvas. Every photo then should be my masterpiece.
This is my nervous attempt to “paint” one subject who is very close to my heart and which I also think is a very beautiful woman. My cousin Ruth is a part-time model and has been photographed countless of times. But these shots are different. She looks vulnerable without the clothing but at the same time looked very confident in her own skin.
